Lead Programmer Analyst-Waltech, Inc.-Southborough, MA- Waltech, Inc.-Southborough, MA- Write, update, correct errors, and maintain computer programs/software packages to track inventory, store or retrieve data, or control other equipment. Compile/write subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions of the program(s). Repair/expand existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the systems, or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions. Lead project team and responsible for overseeing/assisting other programmer analysts team members. Willing to relocate to/for various work sites around the country. Req. Masters degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Information Technology combined with demonstrated experience serving in lead programmer analyst capacity; in the alternative will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years progressive experience as a Programmer Analyst in the software industry. At least 3 years of the 5 years progressive experience must have been spent leading projects. Extensive experience in .NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.Net, Java, C++, VB 6.0, LISP, shell scripting, SQL, Cygwin, AJAX, XML, Xpath, webservices, SOAP.
